The National Honor Society is nationally acclaimed invitational honor. It selects a group of quality students in 11th and 12th grade who serve as
exemplary models of the foundational four pillars of the N
ational Honor Society: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These inducted students are also actively involved in school events and community service, and must be able to maintain a high grade point average (GPA).
Six years ago, the Broadfording Christian Academy Colossians 3:17 chapter of the National Honor Society was founded. Colossians 3:17 states, "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Students attend monthly meetings addressing the pillars of the National Honor Society and engage in studies focusing on honorable, remarkable leaders in history. The meetings also provide the students with time to work on beneficial service projects developed by the students each year.
Mrs. Elizabeth Luhn currently serves as the advisor and director of the Broadfording chapter.
The National Honor Society is a wonderful asset to Broadfording Christian Academy, and has aided the school and the community in many ways since its inception.
